Group project made with Naïs Rebelles, Camilo Duarte Rivas and Janelle Ravelojaona.

The project explores the concept of ‘creating a painting’ by blending social critique with historical inspirations. Through a satirical family staging, it denounces a society where appearances reign, much like Instagram, which has become a modern museum of retouched images. Drawing inspiration from the opulence of Rococo style and the visual codes of contemporary figures such as the Kardashians, the costumes exaggerate body shapes to emphasize artificiality. The family consists of four characters: an imposing mother who takes the lead role, a corseted daughter, a distant and more transparent son, and a pet that belongs to the mother.
